about bean websites

Bean is a home-spun internet shop in St. Paul, MN, creating and sometimes hosting web sites since 1995. Most website work is for friends, often in barter, always interesting and fun.

Our oldest daughter's nickname is bean. She doesn't seem to mind that we're using it for web work.

I build sites that look good inside and out, sites with solid grounding that are meant to be used. I'm conversant in html, css, php, mysql and experienced navigating the templates and admin systems for the WordPress, Zen Cart, and PHPBB applications among others.
